Eugene joined Grover, Elliott & Co. in September 2011. Eugene began his career in real estate appraisal in 2006, when he began working in the Okanagan as a candidate appraiser and enrolled in the UBC Sauder School of Business’ Post Graduate Course in Valuation. In May, 2008, Eugene obtained his Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI) designation. Subsequently, in April, 2011, after completing prerequisite educational courses, Eugene was granted the Real Estate Institute of Canada’s Certified Reserve Planner (CRP) designation.

Eugene obtained an undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Applied Science (Electrical Engineering) from the University of Waterloo and a Masters degree in Business Administration from UBC’s Sauder School of Business. From 1987 to 2006, Eugene was employed in various engineering, sales and marketing roles for high tech companies both within Canada and internationally and has lived and worked abroad in Europe and Asia.

Eugene has over eight years of experience as a commercial appraiser, completing a wide range of commercial, industrial and multi-family valuations both in the Lower Mainland and throughout BC. Eugene has special expertise in the valuation of unique, more rural-oriented properties, and depreciation reports for strata corporations.
